About Daniele

IBCLC, CST

Hello, my name is Daniele Johnston and I can’t wait to meet you! My

journey to becoming an IBCLC started 22 years ago with the

meaningful and challenging experience of breastfeeding my two sons.

I am privileged to enter the sacred space of postpartum motherhood

and offer comfort, guidance and reassurance.

I am an avid learner with a particular interest in tongue ties and the latest breastfeeding research. My education is varied and will be on-going:

- International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)

- Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), Academy of Lactation Policy and

Practice

- Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS), Lactation Education

Resources

- Lactation Educator Training (CLE), CAPPA

- Post-Partum Doula, CAPPA

- Bachelor of Science degree (BS), California State University

Craniosacral Therapy:

My constant pursuit of better supporting the infant and breastfeeding

dyad lead me to the practice of Craniosacral Therapy. This addition to my lactation practice has been encouraged and supported by my work alongside my mentor, Lynnelle King. Learning this light touch therapy continues to challenge and fascinate me - I have seen countless dyads benefit from this treatment and I look forward to continuing my education through The Upledger Institute.

When I’m not practicing at Family Seasons, you can find me in the

mountains camping or hiking with my supportive husband of over 22

years! I have two amazing sons, both in college, that we love to see every chance we get!
